Amidst the rumors and drama, the Co-Hosts of Daytime Emmy® Award–nominated talk show, The Real, continue to rise above it all. With shocking revelations circulating former Co-Host Tamar Braxton’s recent departure, the weekly gossip surrounding The Real fuels on — but daytime stars Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley are clearly moving on.
The four women are packing it up and heading down to New Orleans, to bring a live version of The Real to the 2016 Essence Festival attendees, and things keep heating up. Appearing on the ESSENCE Empowerment Experience Stage July 1st at 4:45PM CST, the hit talk show aims to enlighten and inspire guests, along with (of course) keeping it “real.”
“We are so excited to be a part of this year’s ESSENCE Festival,” said the co-hosts of The Real. “One of the goals of our show is to empower our viewers, and this summer we’ll be able to engage and inspire them in person. What better place to keep it REAL than at the 2016 Essence Festival?!”
The Real‘s New Orleans appearance will be webcast as part of “Live from the ESSENCE Festival” on Essence.com and will also be a part of several broadcasts in the fall, once The Real returns to daytime TV for its third season. Be on the lookout for the Co-Hosts to pop up on the scene throughout the Festival, in addition to hosting the ESSENCE Day Party on Sunday, July 3rd.
NEW PERFORMANCE ADDED: CHLOE X HALLE
Star-studded appearances are the obvious draw for the annual Festival, with another recent announcement that Beyoncé protégées Chloe x Halle (pictured left) are scheduled to shake up the scene.
While a pop-up surprise by Bey is not anticipated, the Chloe x Halle social media sensations are slated to take formation at the Superdome on July 3rd — so be sure to mark your calendars and get ready for a day of full slay.
From Maxwell to Mariah Carey to Kendrick Lamar and more, the ESSENCE Festival is shaping up to be nothing less than extraordinarily epic.
