The Pin Show, one of the most highly attended and anxiously anticipated indie designer showcases for Dallas, has announced its return to The Bomb Factory on February 20, 2016.

The fashionable explosion will feature an all-star line-up of 22 local designers, each to showcase collections of 6-10 looks each. A must-attend event for the “Who’s Who” in fashion — editors, bloggers, stylists, photographers, and industry insiders are marking their calendar for what has been coined as Dallas’ best in independent runway shows.

Always rolling the dice and upping the ante, The Pin Show returns to Deep Ellum for an even bigger, badder, and bolder presentation for 2016.

While designs spanning the avant garde to bridal to ready-to-wear will grace center stage, an extra adrenaline wave will rush by way of high energy entertainment provided by Zhora, Ronnie Heart, Big D fave Dezi 5, Sam Lao, and Becki Howard.

Cue the lights, click the cameras, and brace for action, because rhythmic fusions of light, sound, beats, and fashion will subsume the atmosphere February 20.

But back to fashion. The Pin Show has strategically been the go-to platform for independent fashion designers since its inception by Founder and Executive Director Julie McCullough in 2007. Blending all facets from design to showcase to market, The Pin Show dives deep into the heart of the industry by elevating emerging talent and placing them in the eyes of key industry players and decision makers.

Eighteen new designers, and four veteran participants will return to the 51,000 square foot space to rock the runway all night long. Past Pin Show favorites Jesse Thaxton of Melancholic Designs and Charlotte Elliot of Yomono will open the show, with a specially curated presentation of over 15 looks, coordinated to music and creative interpretations with hair and make-up.

Partnering once again with Shag Carpet Props, Stila Cosmetics, Jean Phillipe Salon, Wallflower Management, and Dragonfly Agency — and teaming up with BBD designers Mike Arreaga, Rick Fontenot, and Jonathan Rudak for the runway installation, The Pin Show is already shaping up as the event that will catapult Dallas’ 2016 fashion scene.

Participating designers and labels for The Pin Show include: Melancholic Designs, Yomono, Gustavia, De’ by De’Vaun Robinson, Karen Alistair, Christian Allana, Noble Elizabeth, Erica Dawn Woodmore, Stoner Drive, Wendistry, Jamel Hawk, Flawless Honey, Elle Luxx, Commecci, Lala, Shallamar, Miramor, CarmenIris, Wonders by Candace, McKenna Collins, Jae Ladi, Folksie, Jake Rosenhoover, Silk Threads, and Alate.
