Just in time and right before the Thanksgiving feast and festivities, PHYSIQUE will head to Austin’s JW Marriott to unveil a multi-faceted experience at its health, wellness, beauty, and fashion expo. Slated as an all-day affair, PHYSIQUE will feature guest speakers, fitness demos, beauty sessions, shopping, and more as it aims to raise awareness about breast cancer in addition to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle. All proceeds (tickets and sponsorships) are marked to benefit Stiletto Stampede.

Save your energy, get a good night’s rest, and hydrate yourself because PHYSIQUE will showcase 90 vendor booths highlighting the best brands and products in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle industries. Learn tips and tricks from pros like the local artists at Paul Mitchell or indulge in the latest products from beauty care’s top-tiered brand, Mary Kay.

Take a break and head over to the Pop-Up District where your fashion senses will head into overdrive. Eight local designers and boutiques will be on display, including Black Cross by Midi Soliz, Linda Asaf, Austin Fashion Week’s 2015 Fashion Fund Award winner Chelsey Nordyke of Spire the Label, and League of Rebels. Hang around, because some of these designers will participate in the Fashion for a Cause Runway Show that is set to take place (6:10pm to 8pm) that evening.

And the red carpet treatment doesn’t just stop there! Premium ticket holders will also have exclusive access to the manicure, hair and lash extensions, makeup, and injectables stations in the VIP area.
Celebrity-inspired treatments and unbeatable shopping are not the only main draws for this event. International model, actress, and TV host Lola Laymon will be in the building to host several of PHYSIQUE activities on stage, which will lead up to the Survivor Beauty Challenge which begins at 5pm.
Led by Terri Gruca of KVUE (pictured above), the Challenge will pair five local cancer patients with some of Austin’s top hairstylists and makeup artists. This inspiring beauty demo for a cause is sure to uplift spirits as onlookers marvel at the transformations.
