As Ugly Sweater Christmas parties continue to fester, Dallas’ Sundown at Granada will host its mega rendition of a holiday classic on December 23, 2016 — to a sea of unsightly, repulsive, and entertainingly clad guests.
Introducing its own creative spin to the annual party favorite, the inaugural bash will kick off at 9PM on Sundown’s rooftop followed by a musical performance by Big Ass Brass Band at the main bar at 10:30PM. While Big Ass Brass Band keeps it funky with New Orleans style holiday tunes, guests are invited to sip on a complimentary Crown Royal Crown Vanilla drink that’s sure to keep the holiday spirit flowing and vibes nice and toasty.
Whether party-goers are naughty or nice, Santa himself will make a cameo appearance to pass out gag gifts from 9PM to midnight. And while sightings of Santa should be the highlight of the evening, other features such as the free photo booth, even more Crown Royal, and the ultimate ugly Christmas sweater competition should keep the good times rolling all night long.
To the attendee with the ugliest sweater, it’s the one time during the year where tacky triumphs all. Sundown at Granada will gift the winner a $100 Sundown gift card, gifts from the event’s sponsors, plus two tickets to a Granada Theater show of his or her choice.
