NCS Group launched an official aid alliance with Global Empowerment Mission for The Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel’s ‘BStrong’ Initiative. The latest mission is bringing three relief trucks to Texas with the first truck en route from Miami to Denton (The Cross Timbers Hope Center In Denton, TX) followed by Houston, TX on Tuesday (February 23) to aid over 15,000 people (inclusive of over 5,000 families).
Trucks are being dispersed from both California and Miami with the supplies. The urgent transport need of goods is bringing relief to the state of emergency declared due to hard freeze and inclement weather, inclusive of power outages throughout the state. The first delivery will hit Denton, followed by Houston and more cities thereafter, which Bethenny Frankel announced on her Instagram on February 19. Each truck has over $180k worth of goods in relief for the families.
The transport mission is inclusive of “BStrong Family Necessities Kits” packed at the BStrong distribution center in Miami, filled with food essentials, hygiene supplies, masks/gloves, HFactor Water, and more. The boxes which include a month of supplies per household, were packed into NCS Group’s Unlimited Carrier Fleet and headed to Texas within a 24 hour period.
A BStrong family pack necessities kit, serving an average family of 5, will consist of the following: 20 lb bags of rice, Assortment of 1-2, 2 lbs bags of beans (black, kidney, white), 1-2 lbs bag of oats, assortment of Clif protein bars, Immuse Immune Boosters, Hydration Kits, Hygiene supplies (dry shampoo, pack of bars of soap, etc.), 5 toothbrushes + Toothpaste, 5 masks, gloves & large hand sanitizer.
This partnership will provide trucking fleet support to their phases of COVID-19 Relief and ongoing Disaster Relief efforts. NCS is a global lifestyle group, led by Entrepreneur Ignas Jurkonis, with a focus on doing good and thought leadership.
“It is my honor to work with such an amazing nonprofit organization that has assisted in missions all over the world. We are proud to be their transportation partner in restoring hope across America as disaster responders,” said Jurkonis.
NCS Group’s fleet of 500 U.S. based trucks in strategic alliance with Unlimited Carrier, will now be supporting the national trucking needs for Global Empowerment Mission’s BStrong initiatives as of 2021.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have this partnership with NCS Group. It is absolutely critical to get life saving aid to people in real time when needed. Our headquarters are fully stocked and prepared year round to sustain significantly sized communities that are suffering from COVID-19 and natural disasters. With this partnership, we will be able to get these supplies directly into communities immediately anywhere in the country,” said Michael Capponi, President of Global Empowerment Mission.
