The food hall obsession is real — so much that Fort Worth will now open its first ever food hall later this year at the bustling Crockett Row shopping destination. While 2017 claimed all the buzz on Legacy West’s food hall craze, the new FOODHALL at Crockett Row (as it is being coined) will be all the rage for 2018.
So chew on this. Crockett Row’s new #foodie addiction will span 16,000 square feet to include local culinary vendors, a full bar, patio seating, art and music programming by local artists and TCU students, plus more delicious deets dropping on Inspire N Style soon.
And if that’s not enough mouth-watering scoop, we have the dish on what will be served at the new hotspot destination. So feast your eyes on this.
Aside from Knife Burger by chef sensation John Tesar and The Dapper Doughnut, FOODHALL recently announced four additional vendors that add cuisines of southern comfort, BBQ, insta-worthy waffles, and fresh sushi.
Chef Grady Spears will head up Graze — a comfort food haven focused on sweet and savory chicken and biscuits amongst other crave-able favorites.
And you may have seen the drool-worthy pics of this next eatery sensation on your feeds, as loaded waffle after waffle came tumbling down from Plano’s Legacy West Press Waffle Co. Brothers Bryan and Caleb Lewis (pictured below) will continue the madness by heading up another location at FOODHALL, to feature authentic Belgian waffles and locally roasted coffee.
“The dough-based, Liege-style waffles made with Belgian pearl sugar come in sweet and savory varieties, such as “The House” (Nutella, cookie butter and fresh cut strawberries with housemade whipped cream) and “The Soulman” (fried chicken tenders, bacon crumbles and pure maple syrup). A build-your-own option will allow customers to choose from a number of toppings, including peanut butter, sprinkles, fruit, nuts and more.”
But that’s not all. Because it’s Texas (ya’ll), what would a food hall be without the obvious? Yes, you guessed it. BBQ.
Not Just Q will continue its cult following by opening at Crocket Row’s FOODHALL with from-scratch barbecue, innovative sides, and other distinct BBQ-ish offerings such as brisket nachos, tacos, and more.
Former TCU football star David Hawthorne will sauce up the culinary fare at FOODHALL, by adding Fort Worth-exclusive menu items (sorry Dallas) and a monthly rotation of items inspired by the Not Just Q fans.
Lastly, owners Jarry and Mary Ho along with chef Kevin Martinez, will add a sushi concept inspired by their westside restaurant Tokyo Cafe. Sushi offerings will feature the most popular rolls from the restaurant along with dishes exclusively prepared for the FOODHALL frequenter.
