From high fashion runways to the glossy pages, 2015 has been the year of …
Credited as the “largest event” of Los Angeles Fashion Week, Style Fashion Week LA makes a triumphant return on October 14th to gather 125 brands, 50 artists, and well over 45,000 guest attendees, celebrities, buyers, press, and fashion industry insiders for a week of fashion, art, and music showcases. Known as the “Official Fashion Week of LA”, the 5-day mega event will host a wealth of national designers – including Dallas’ own Venny Etienne of LeVenity – in addition to celebrity appearances, red carpet showcases, and more.
In addition to the ordinary run of shows, Style Fashion Week LA has partnered with Venue Trade Show to reveal top vendors and brands available for perusing from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily on both October 15th and 16th. And as if things could not get any better, Style Fashion Week LA adds an artistry component on October 17th and 18th with Style Fashion Week Art Venue LA – a creative debut showcasing “urban and street art connected to the pulse of today’s art world.”
Designer Malan Breton, a New York Fashion Week and Inspire N Style favorite, will kick off the Fashion Week festivities October 14th with a showcase of his SS’ 16 Reflections of Sun Moon Lake presentation. From Vogue to Elle to mentions in Vanity Fair, Breton’s highly anticipated showing is stirring quite the buzz amongst fashion goers, and pairs the perfect complement in launching the week’s activities.
Shortly thereafter, celebrities, influencers, and breast cancer survivors will #GOPINK as they grace the runway for the “Style Me Pink” fashion show benefiting Susan G. Komen of LA County.
On October 15th, Estrellas De Moda will spice up the festivities in honor of Latino fashion and culture, and to benefit the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. Hollywood it girl, Christina Milian, will hit the stage October 16th to entertain with both a live performance and a runway presentation of her very own SS’16 Collection.
With an all-star line-up of designers, an incredible run of shows, and a MARCO MARCO closing presentation featuring the top drag queens and trans models to shock the senses — Style Fashion Week LA is ready to spread its wings, strut, and now soar.
