Set your alarms fashionistas and be sure to get a good night’s sleep, because this is one designer sale that you won’t hit snooze for. Belk’s semi-annual Charity Day Sale is returning to Galleria Dallas Saturday, April 30th and it’ll definitely be the early bird that catches the worm for some of the deepest discounts on designer goods.

For just a ticket purchase of $5, ticket holders will receive early access to the sale beginning at 6 a.m. and ending at 10 a.m. Shoppers will definitely want to rise and shine, as the first 100 customers to arrive at Belk will receive a gift card ranging in value from $5 to $100, with an additional chance to win one of three $1,000 Belk gift cards being awarded companywide.

Make sure to lace up your walking shoes as noted designer brands like Trina Turk, Kate Spade, BCBGeneration, Jessica Simpson, and Michael Kors will be marked at unbeatable prices. And while snagging designer deals are totally our thing, participating in a sale specially designated to assisting non-profit organizations is just another reason to calendar in this amazing sale.

Just last year alone, the two Belk Charity Day Sale events helped to raise more than $11 million for thousands of schools and community 501 (c)(3) organizations.

“Belk is especially proud of our ability to give back to the communities who have supported us so much over the years,” said Jessica Graham, Belk vice president of communications & community relations. “There is no limit to the number of organizations that can participate, the number of tickets they can sell, or the amount of money they can raise – so everyone benefits.

Some of the participating nonprofits raise more funds through this sale than any other effort, so we hope all Belk customers will take part in giving back to their communities while they shop,” said Graham. “If you’re an organization that needs help raising money, we hope you’ll sign up to participate. If you’re a supporter of a participating organization, we hope you and your family and friends will buy tickets through the organizations or at Belk stores, and get ready for a great shopping day.”

For purchasing the $5 ticket from either in-store or directly from a participating non-profit organization, customers will receive $5 back on their first purchase. With in-store charity sale ticket purchases, the revenue from these sales will be divided equally amongst participating non-profit organizations.
