So tech this out. A technology-based news segment, Tech This Out News, is headed your way Dallas and it’s everything that the tech-savvy, multi-cultural millennial is on the hunt for: hip, cool and fun techno-updates with an ultra-trendy twist.
Dallas’ 97.9 FM The Beat and Digital Mind State, a creative marketing and consulting agency specializing in non-traditional advertising, will now partner up to bring listeners Tech This Out News™ every Tuesday.
Announced as the “preeminent source for innovative trends”, Tech This Out News™, will be the insider’s guide to what’s hot, what’s new, and what’s trending by way of emerging startups and cutting edge products.
“Consumers want to be educated on what’s going on in the world of tech, from the latest gadgets, crypto currency, net neutrality to government policies in tech that impact us. Tech This Out News aims to provide news that resonates with The Beat’s audience in an emotional and intellectual way,” said Mike Johns, Executive Producer of Tech This Out News. “We’re making tech news cool and easy to digest.”
And also easy on the eyes as well. Adding to the cast for Tech This Out News™ will be Former VH1 Reality Star (I Love Money, Flavor of Love), Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander, who will report on all things tech, product reviews, and the latest gadgets to buy.
And as if Nicole wasn’t celebrity enough for the new 97.9 The Beat show, star-studded interviews will also shake up the line-up.
PastTech This Out News™ (via their regular podcast segments) guest appearances have ranged from Jesse Jackson, Remy Ma, Too Short, Ron Jeremy, to more technical guests such as Chief Technical Officer for Live Nation Jody Mulkey; VP of Information Technology for Interscope Records, Dwayne Robinsons; and many more.
Tech This Out News™ will not only be supported by its partnership with 97.9 The Beat, but will also feature a virtual reality video platform, which will be a first for any radio station to feature. Audiences will feel more connected via the VR interactive elements, and emerging tech start-ups will now have a listening audience by which to showcase their products. #IssaWinWin
